What about a skate park?

I would really like a skatepark and many of my friends would too. I think a nice reasonable sized skatepark would get lots of children involved and wanting to use the village a lot more. The reason why I am writing this is because I believe that kids in Wootton need more social space. 1  out of 1 found this valuable. Do you?

There are 3 scate parks around Oxford: http://www.oxford.gov.uk/PageRender/decLP/Skate_Parks_occw.htm
There is one in Abingdon: http://www.whitehorsedc.gov.uk/leisure_and_arts/skatepark/default.asp

I hope when looking at the Abingdon link of how much the skate park cost to construct: £122k

Get on your skates and visit these excellent facilities. Too far to go? Then your not committed enough for any local investment to be considered.
