Hi: My name is Kate Williams. I am an amateur artist and I am looking for a space in the area to use as a studio. I'd ideally like to find other local artists who might want to share a studio facility, for sociability and cost sharing. We would need someone to provide such a facility (for the appropriate rental, of course)! A barn or outbuilding would be ideal (provided it is water tight and has power).

Cycling on pavements

Returning to my home on Wednesday evening in the dark i turned into St Peters Close only to encounter
three children on cycles with no lights on the wrong side of the road, although i was doing between 5 and 10 MPH
I was only just able to stop in time and for my trouble received from all three the famous V sign.
When will parents have the sense to ensure that their children have servicable lights fitted to their cycles.
On the subject of cycle paths i am compleatly in favor but would ask cyclists to use them where they are provided,
as along the road to Abingdon i have often passed cyclists using the road where there is a cycle path provided
